The Japanese, as you know, are smart, intelligent, inventive and hardworking people. But they are smart and inventive not only at work, in the office, from where they amaze with new inventions and discoveries. Their entertainment is rather not for the smart and not at all intelligent. However, they enjoy different tests: fastidiousness, patience and even pain threshold.

The most famous entertainment is when two contestants sit opposite each other. A hollow tube is placed between them from mouth to mouth. And a large American cockroach is sitting in the tube. The girls begin to compete in the power of their lungs, trying to blow so that the insect gets into the opponent’s throat. At the same time, the fear of getting the muck in your mouth. If not deeper, is not fake for both participants, who for some reason decided to take this test.

This competition is based on the following. A certain company makes various household items, but edible. They are so naturally executed that it is very difficult to distinguish from the same thing that people use in their daily routine. The contestant is given a chance to guess which of two completely similar things is edible. Thus, he is allowed to bite off a piece of a hanger, a shoe and even a door handle. If the contestant makes a mistake, he is not only not pleased with his teeth and taste sensations. But he is immediately sprinkled with something like flour. And very sharply and from below, right in the eyes. Well, without any pity!

The continuation of the squeamishness test is undoubtedly in the next issue. Such a show began, by the way, in America. But it didn’t last long, about two months. But among the Japanese, it has become not only popular. It has even received its own development. The point is that the karaoke [ˈkæriəʊki] performer must finish his song regardless of what the presenter does. And the presenter can immerse it in the aquarium [əˈkwe(ə)rɪəm]. He gradually fill it with all kinds of teeming animals. Fish, snakes, scorpions and even crocodiles. A singer can be doused with all sorts of liquids, greasy, multicolored. Or with an unpleasant smell, sprinkled with what can be poured at all: flour, paint and insects.

At some point, the Japanese got tired of scaring reptiles. And other writhing creatures, and they made the contest even more sophisticated. The contestant is watered with blood (a liquid imitating blood), feces. And even – instead of a cake in the face – poked in a diaper… In which a child – or not a child – left a surprise.
