In the modern world, there are many virtual [ˈvɜːʧʊəl] means to continue studying in any weather and under any circumstances from a distance. And this isn’t new or surprising to anyone for a long time. But one day, a virtual story happened that has remained unsolved to this day.

Natalya Stanislavovna habitually used a board with the name bitpaper, and for Kolya this board was not an alien object. They made an appointment online and «went out» on the board.

When someone meets on the board, a pencil with the guest’s signature and number is shown on the screen, as well as a welcome sound. The pencil changes its functions to a ruler or an eraser, it can change different colours and has got ready-made shapes on the board that you need for the lesson. In general, it is a very convenient application!

The lesson started as usual. They were enthusiastically busy with mathematical problems. And suddenly greeting sounds started to sound in the middle of the lesson, and various «guests» with different numbers began appearing on the screen. Three guests, seven guests, eleven guests! In general, they covered the entire virtual board, and the teacher and the learner counted 26 guests.

There was definitely no one else who could use the board. Earlier, when Natalya Stanislavovna was just getting used to the innovations of the Internet, she started one board and was giving it out to different pupils of hers. Droll things happened back then, too.

While Natalya Stanislavovna was deciding the examples on the board, she suddenly started flipping to another page. Natalya Stanislavovna returned the board to its original place, but it again behaved disobediently and scrolled to another place. The teacher started scolding her pupil, why he was doing this. But he claimed that he didn’t do it. Then an inscription appeared on the board: “Natalya Stanislavovna, this is Vova! I just need to copy my homework and I’ll leave.” They were laughing!

And there definitely shouldn’t be anyone on the board! But the board was just littered with virtual guests.

— Natalya Stanislavovna! We’re under attack! I’m afraid! – Kolya panicked. – Could you create a new board?

Natalya Stanislavovna did it in one minute. One, two, three – and a new board was ready! She sent the link with the new board to Kolya. But what’s going on? The new board began to fill up with guests, too! And guests from the former board! With the same numbers!

– Natalya Stanislavovna, we are being followed! – Kolya panicked again. Then the teacher looked at their former board and said that all the guests had gone to the new board.

– Can we go back to the former board then? – Kolya suggested again.

– What’s the guarantee that they won’t follow us? – Natalya Stanislavovna joked. They went back to the former board. While they were running from the «guests» about the boards, the end of the lesson was already approaching. In the last ten minutes, 4 more guests returned from the new virtual board. The most persistent! Natalya Stanislavovna and Kolya laughed again!
